Disney began its cruise business in 1995. Currently, there are 6 ships sailing the seas: Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, Disney Dream, Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, and Disney Treasure. By the end of this year, Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny will join the fleet, embarking on brand-new maritime adventures!

Disney Cruise Line's primary routes are the Bahamas and the Caribbean. These two routes visit Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, as well as Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, which newly opened in June 2024. These islands feature exclusive facilities, offering a unique vacation experience available only to Disney Cruise Line guests!

In addition to the newest Disney Treasure, Disney Cruise Line has announced that the new 2025 ship, "Disney Adventure," will be homeported in Singapore, launching the line's first route in Southeast Asia and becoming Disney's first Asia-based cruise ship. In the US, "Disney Destiny," themed around "Heroes and Villains," sets sail for its maiden voyage in November 2025.

Furthermore, Oriental Land, the operator of Tokyo Disney Resort, recently dropped a bombshell announcement: they are entering the cruise market! The cruise ship will depart from ports in the Tokyo capital region, planning 2-4 night itineraries, with a maiden voyage expected in 2028. The scale will be comparable to the "Disney Wish," weighing approximately 140,000 tons with a capacity of up to 4,000 passengers.

Family Travel

Disney Cruise Line targets families, planning clubs for children and teenagers of different age groups and designing diverse activities to help kids make new friends their own age. The ship also features the "it's a small world" nursery, where parents can entrust children aged 6 months to 3 years to professional care, allowing them more time to enjoy some couple time.

Additionally, the ship offers adult-exclusive restaurants, bars, and pools, allowing adults to enjoy undisturbed relaxation.

Themed Dining

To ensure every guest has a complete experience, Disney Cruise Line specially plans "Rotational Dining." Guests are scheduled to dine at a different main restaurant each night, ensuring everyone can taste the cuisine of every main restaurant and experience the unique atmosphere of each venue. Your servers will rotate with you to each restaurant, remembering your dining preferences and providing personalized service.

The ships feature dining venues with shows themed after different Disney movies. For example, Plaza de Coco on Disney Treasure is inspired by Coco, serving Mexican cuisine; Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure on Disney Wish is themed after Frozen, serving Nordic cuisine.

Onboard Entertainment

Cruise facilities are themed around Disney's franchises, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. The biggest difference from other fleets is the exclusive Disney activities, offering chances to interact and take photos with Disney characters!

One of the major highlights of Disney Cruise Line is the onboard musical performances! Classic stories from Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin to Frozen are presented in brand-new forms in the theater. You can also enjoy Disney original musicals, singing and dancing along with Mickey and friends as well as movie characters, immersing travelers of all ages in magical performances.

In addition to rich performances and delicious meals, Disney Cruise Line hosts various deck parties. The "Sailing Away" party is led by Mickey and friends, inviting everyone to dance to the music and start a magical journey!

During "Pirate Night," Disney characters transform into pirates, inviting you to dress up as a pirate and join the party. The dinner menu changes to a treasure map, serving pirate-themed meals, and the night concludes perfectly with fireworks at sea.
