Founded in 2007, Azamara is a small-ship luxury cruise line with a fleet of only four ships: Azamara Journey, Azamara Quest, Azamara Pursuit, and Azamara Onward. Each ship accommodates approximately 680 to 700 guests, ensuring optimal comfort and service quality.

Azamara's itineraries span the Mediterranean, Alaska, the Caribbean, South America, Asia, and Africa, with its in-depth Mediterranean voyages being the most iconic. The smaller ships can flexibly dock at smaller ports, allowing travelers to experience a more authentic local journey.

Destination Immersion

With "Destination Immersion®" as its core concept, Azamara plans numerous in-depth itineraries featuring various thematic shore excursions or overnight stays. Extended port times allow travelers ample opportunity to explore local history, culture, cuisine, and customs.

In 2025, Azamara is upgrading this signature feature to "Destination Immersion® Elevated," expanding deep-dive voyages to 33 itineraries, adding 25 ports of call, and launching more unique routes, including a solar eclipse voyage in August 2026.

New shore excursions offer even more choices. In addition to more evening and overnight programs, the line has introduced the "Curator's Collection"—small, intimate group tours led by locals to provide travelers with deep cultural experiences.

Onboard cultural activities have also been upgraded: "Stories Under the Stars" invites locals to share legends and myths, "Azamara's Destination Showcase" combines cultural performances with dinner, and there are beers from 21 countries available for tasting.

Exclusive Privileges

Azamara offers various comfortable stateroom types, including Interior, Oceanview, Veranda staterooms, and Suites. Basic amenities such as TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, and USB outlets are fully equipped. The fare also includes gratuities, select alcoholic beverages, bottled water, soft drinks, and self-service laundry.

Guests staying in Suites enjoy additional amenities and upgraded services! A personal butler will assist with reservations for specialty restaurants, the SPA, and shore excursions. Suite guests also enjoy priority embarkation and disembarkation, unlimited internet packages, and premium spirits and champagne in the in-suite mini-bar, providing service comparable to a five-star hotel.

Exquisite Dining

Azamara offers a diverse dining experience, from international flavors in the main restaurant to exquisite specialty restaurants and casual dining, all delivered with attentive service. The main dining room, Discoveries Restaurant, and the buffet, Windows Cafe, serve cuisine from around the world all day; The Patio by the pool offers burgers, hot dogs, fries, and other fast food, allowing you to enjoy delicious grilled food under the warm sun.

There are two specialty restaurants on board: Aqualina serves Italian cuisine—be sure to try signature desserts like Sorrento Lemon Mousse and Hazelnut Chocolate Soufflé after your meal; Prime C offers various steakhouse dishes, featuring meticulously cooked steaks as well as lamb chops, duck confit, and sea bass.

Social Spaces

After a full day of exploring ashore, relax with a drink at one of Azamara's bars or meet new friends in the social spaces.

Discoveries Bar, located next to the main restaurant, serves a selection of wines and spirits, making it perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink. You can also head to the Cabaret Lounge to enjoy live performances while relaxing in comfortable seats.

Mosaic Cafe is the favorite corner for coffee lovers on board, serving coffee and desserts day and night. Other social spaces include The Living Room, The Drawing Room, and The Den, where you can relax with friends over music and various drinks.

Live Entertainment

Nighttime on a cruise wouldn't be complete without spectacular performances! Azamara's signature event, "AzAmazing Evenings," combines local traditions to host unique events or performances in various destination port cities, such as medieval celebrations in British castles, Italian opera, or traditional Greek music and dance.

The Cabaret Lounge is the ship's performance hub, featuring song and dance shows and live music, with different programs on every ship. Additionally, there are various crafts and painting activities, bingo, trivia games, and line dancing classes, filling your time at sea with fun!
