Explora Journeys is the new luxury cruise brand under the MSC Group. Founded in 2021, it focuses on slow-paced, sustainable travel, utilizing the latest environmental technologies and emission control systems to reduce carbon footprint.

Explora Journeys' destinations include popular Caribbean, Mediterranean, Northern European, Canadian, and New England routes, as well as voyages to the Red Sea, the Arabian Peninsula, Central America, South America, and the Amazon rainforest, taking travelers to experience luxurious holidays at sea around the world. Currently, two ships are sailing, with a total of six ships expected to be in operation by 2028.

Culinary Experiences

Explora Journeys features multiple distinct restaurants to satisfy guests with different tastes. These include the Asian restaurant Sakura, the European steakhouse Marble & Co. Grill, the French restaurant Fil Rouge, the Mediterranean-inspired Med Yacht Club, and the all-day dining venue Emporium Marketplace.

The specialty dining venue, Anthology, features a menu curated by Head of Culinary Franck Garanger, offering guests exquisite Italian cuisine that pays homage to the produce and culinary history of Italy's various regions.

Chef's Kitchen offers immersive cooking experiences led by the onboard culinary team in a private kitchen. Classes vary by itinerary, with chefs guiding guests to visit local markets and suppliers to explore new ingredients, flavors, and culinary traditions of different cultures. After the class, guests enjoy the dishes they prepared together, paired with wines selected by the sommelier.

Casual Dining & Lounges

The ship features various bars, lounges, and dessert spots, providing guests with a rich variety of drink options and comfortable social spaces. Poolside bars are located by all four swimming pools on board, where you can order a drink, relax on a sun lounger, and enjoy the sea view or sunset.

Explora Lounge is the ship's social hub, offering 270-degree magnificent ocean views. Accompanied by relaxing background music, enjoy light bites, snacks, and afternoon tea paired with cocktails, coffee, tea, smoothies, or fresh juices. Inside, the Malt whisky bar takes guests on a global whisky journey, and there is also a cigar humidor and an exclusive outdoor smoking terrace.

Other casual dining options include Gelateria & Creperie at The Conservatory, serving French crêpes and Italian gelato, and Crema Café, a European-style café offering coffee, tea, juices, exquisite pastries, and gelato.

Entertainment & Wellbeing

Leisure activities on board take place by the various pools and in lounges, featuring different types of musical performances. In the evening, there is an outdoor cinema where you can watch movies by the pool while sipping cocktails.

The ship offers over 350 square meters of indoor and outdoor fitness space, equipped with top-tier Technogym equipment. A wide range of fitness classes is available, such as Pilates, cardio, and functional training. Additionally, spa treatments are available to help you relax your body and mind.

Explora Journeys welcomes multi-generational travelers to create beautiful memories together! The ship offers many connecting suites, providing families with more spacious living areas.

The Helios Pool & Bar at the bow is an adults-only area, offering panoramic sea views and a tranquil deck space for relaxation.

Nautilus Club is a dedicated space designed for young guests aged 6-17. It features gaming consoles like PS5, Xbox, and Switch, as well as foosball, pool tables, various board games, a digital library, and a tablet jukebox. A rich program of activities is also offered. Professional staff are present in the club to ensure activities are conducted safely.

Luxury Suites

All accommodations on Explora Journeys are suites featuring private ocean-view terraces, floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable daybeds, and outdoor dining areas, providing guests with the most luxurious and comfortable private sanctuary at sea.

Guests are welcomed with a bottle of champagne upon arrival. Suites are equipped with a mini-bar, espresso machine, and kettle, along with a complimentary refillable water bottle. Additionally, a pair of binoculars is provided for observing distant scenery during the journey.
