Polar Expeditions

Silversea owns 4 expedition ships specializing in the Arctic, Antarctic, remote islands, and fjords. Leveraging the advantage of small ships, they can dock at smaller ports, taking guests deep into natural landscapes and wildlife observation.

Expedition ships are staffed with an Expedition Team, including biologists, geologists, naturalists, and other experts. Through lectures and daily briefings, they add charm to the journey of exploration.

Among them, Silver Origin is an expedition ship built specifically for the Galápagos Islands. Accommodating only 100 guests, it features an all-suite design with dedicated butlers. After a day of exploration, you can return to your comfortable suite to recharge.
