Celebrity Cruises is a cruise brand under the Royal Caribbean Group. Founded in 1988, it is headquartered in Miami, Florida, USA. The line sails to 79 countries and over 300 destinations worldwide. In addition to classic routes like the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Alaska, it also features unique itineraries to the Galápagos Islands.

Celebrity Cruises currently has 16 ships in service. The latest Edge Series has four ships currently in operation, including Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond, and Celebrity Ascent, which launched in November 2023. The highly anticipated Celebrity Xcel, combining popular Edge Series amenities with brand-new experiences, is scheduled to launch in November 2025.

In August 2025, Celebrity Cruises announced its entry into the river cruise market, introducing two river ships, Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, with official sailings expected to begin in 2027!

The river ships will sail along two classic European rivers, the Danube and the Rhine. Fares include all onboard meals, beverages, Wi-Fi, entertainment, and one shore excursion per day. The itineraries sold out shortly after sales were announced, and more voyages are expected to be released in the future.

Accommodations

The Edge Series brings innovative spatial design, offering a brand-new cruise experience. The latest "Infinite Veranda" design allows you to transform your room into a balcony space connected to the sea with just the touch of a button. The Edge Villa features a two-story resort villa design with a private terrace and plunge pool, along with a dedicated butler to serve you throughout your journey.

For solo travelers, Celebrity Cruises has designed single staterooms. Single interior or veranda staterooms are available for booking on the Edge Series and Celebrity Silhouette. With spacious designs and complete amenities, one can happily enjoy a cruise vacation even when traveling alone.

Complimentary dining includes the Main Dining Room, Oceanview Café (buffet), and Mast Grill, offering flavors from around the world. The Oceanview Café serves food from morning until night, so whether you want a slice of pizza or a snack, you can walk in anytime!

The Main Dining Rooms on the Edge Series are subdivided by regional styles: Cosmopolitan features American urban cuisine; Cyprus offers Mediterranean dishes; for exquisite French cuisine, visit Normandie; and Tuscan serves authentic Italian food.

The Edge Series adds even more specialty venues:

◾ Magic Carpet: The brand-new Magic Carpet is a cantilevered platform on the ship's exterior that moves between decks for different purposes. It serves as a tender deck when in port and transforms into an extension of restaurants and bars at other times, offering magnificent ocean views while dining. ◾ Eden: A three-story venue filled with plants, featuring an open kitchen design where you can watch chefs prepare meals. ◾ Fine Cut Steakhouse: Offers premium meats and seafood dishes. ◾ Rooftop Garden Grill: Features outdoor seating and offers a variety of grilled items.

Onboard Bars

The ship's bars and cafés offer craft beers, wines, cocktails, and Italian specialty coffees, providing comfortable spaces to relax and unwind.

The ship also hosts wine tastings, food and wine pairing workshops, and kitchen tours. The most unique activity is the glassblowing experience at sea, where you can take your finished creation home as a souvenir. Additionally, the ship features a Pickleball court—whether you are a beginner or a pro, you are welcome to join a spirited game on the outdoor court!

Family Activities

Celebrity Cruises has planned a series of children's activity spaces. The "Camp at Sea" kids' club is divided by age into Shipmates (3-5 years), Cadets (6-9 years), Captains (10-12 years), and Teens (13-17 years). With over 500 planned activities, the daily schedule varies, covering themes such as art, recreation, science, and technology, including scavenger hunts, crafts, sports, and theme parties.
